When the pandemic hit, undocumented immigrants—many of them essential workers—were left without support. No stimulus checks, no unemployment benefits. But our community refused to let them face it alone.
That’s why CATA created the Solidarity Fund in 2020. Since then, we’ve distributed $225,000 in emergency aid to help over 400 immigrant workers pay for food, rent, and other urgent needs.
G.P., one of the workers we supported, shared:
"When I was facing a serious worry, I couldn't fully pay my rent and had nowhere else to turn. I reached out to the organization, and they supported me. I felt relieved and happy to be able to meet a need that was weighing heavily on me."

Together, we continue the fight for justice and dignity.
