United for Justice: Standing Firm with Immigrants Against Hate and Division
In the wake of the election, CATA reaffirms our mission to support, uplift, and advocate for the immigrant community.

The challenges we face are clear:

"This election cycle has opened the door even wider to hate speech, made racist comments and policies acceptable, and promoted violence when we don’t agree with one another. This is not what CATA stands for and is not the future we want to see for this country."

We know the road ahead will be difficult. "It’s going to require an unfair amount of energy and resilience, but we cannot let hopelessness and frustration tire us out; we can’t give up."

History reminds us of how this country has scapegoated immigrant communities again and again. "Racist rhetoric towards immigrants from presidents and people in power is nothing new. Placing blame for all of the country's problems on the immigrant community is nothing new."

CATA stands firm in our commitment to a future where everyone is celebrated and valued. "El Pueblo Unido Jamas Sera Vencido—As a united people, we will not be defeated."

We need allies and friends to take a stand against the attacks these communities will face. "True justice requires the collective power of all voices, not just those directly affected."

Together, we can build the future we want for the next generation.
